i have old data in which receiver elevation and soure elevation present seperately. i have punched both elevations.
how we setup the geomety in which we use both receiver elevation and source elevation. i am using the ASCII to sur and ASCII to obl method for creating the geometry and i did not found any option for source elevation. Please suggest

The survey file (.sur) contains both the survey pegs and there associated elevation related to the source and receiver position, so both source and receiver elevations are used. The observer file (.obl) then identifies which peg is associated with a source position and which are receiver positions.
Hope this clarifies how Claritas sur and obl files use source and receiver information.
