we apply static in the static module using the field "File1". Define the datum, replacement velocity, and Floating shfit file in static modile to make data on floting datum.
On which byte location floting values are saved?

By default Claritas only saves static infomation in the TOTAL_STATIC header. If you want to include other static data in the headers you will need to use the READSHF module. This module can read in a static shift file (*.shf) and insert the time-shifts into specified trace headers.

if we apply static and floting file as i mentioned in previous and out segy then at byte location 57 i get my final datum value whereas i did not shift data to final datum.
please explain in brief.

It depends what module you are using. If you are using DATUM_SRD this requires the input of a floating datum file (usually <lineid>_fltcdp.shf) and corrects from floating datum to seismic reference datum (or final datum). If you are using DATUM_FLT, this also requires the floating datum file but corrects from the acquisition datum to the floating datum. It is recommended that these more suitable modules replace the use of the STATIC module for datum correction.
