Wangsubt processor
Hi, The PERCEIGEN parameter was disabled as part of some work done on the WANGSUBT module for the release of V5-5 of Claritas. To save confusion the parameter should have been removed at that time but wasn't so our apologies for that oversight. In order for us to provide any recommendations it would be useful to see the job flow and an example raw shot and model, if possible could you either send these by email to the Claritas.support email address or via our ftpsite. For your information we... 5 years ago |

Wangsubt processor
Hi, i've got a problem with adaptive subtraction processor - WANGSUBT. I was testing results of adaptive subtrraction of SRME model but i get somewhat noisy output so i tried to lower % of eigenvalues used, but apparently PERCIGEN parameter isn't used at all. There is 0 difference between result of 100 and 1 PERCINGEN setting (checked by panel's difference). Is there something i could check more, or is this a bug in software code ? 5 years ago |

well location
Masood, To plot in XVIEW you would need to set the well location as a header and either annotate this above the section or Graph the header as an overlay, ie for most CDP's the value of the header would be 0, and at the well location it would be 10 or something. Regards Andy 7 years ago |

well location
Masood, Within the TOPLABEL module there is the capability to label comments on the hardcopy plots these can be for instance line intersection points or well ties. See the module documentation particularly for the COMFILE, COMSIZE, COMANGLE and COM_DTOL in the TOPLABEL documentation. Regards Andy 7 years ago |

What is a typical 2D marine geometry workflow?
Could you give more details about the data and what you are trying to achieve? For 2D marine data that follows a reasonably straight line with little feathering (say less then 10 degrees at far offset) the offsets from MGEOM should be sufficient to use throughout processing. The offsets from OFFREG and MGEOM should probably be pretty similar anyway. The real world co-ordinates (i.e. from ADDP190) can always be preserved in user specified/created headers for when the data is shown to clients, tr... 2 years ago |
