Apply DATUM_FIX module
My jobflow looks like this : 1 - SEISJOB 2 - SEISREAD 3 - ADDGEOM 4 - STATIC 5 - DATUM_FIX 6 - SEISWRITE Only my *.shf file is applied for the static correction, but no elevation correction. However, if I use the command "Datum" and "Vel_datum" in the STATIC module, some corrections are applied to my data. 2 months ago |

Apply DATUM_FIX module
What does your jobflow look like, could you attach it? The *.shf file output from the refstat application can be applied to data via the STATIC module. The DATUM_FLT - DATUM_SRD pairing of modules allows correction from acquisition datum to floating datum (a smoothed version of the topography) {DATUM_FLT] followed later by correction from floating datum to fixed seismic reference datum (SRD) [DATUM_SRD]. The DATUM_FLT module is normally applied at the start of the overall processing sequen... 2 months ago |

Apply DATUM_FIX module
HI, When I run the STATIC module, I want to compute my corrections from the refstat's workflow, plus a fix reference datum. The module explains that I should use the DATUM_FIX module, however, when I use it, my traces don't show that elevations corrections are applied. How should I use it in my flow ? Thank you, Matt. 3 months ago |

Avoid removing primary from the data with steep dip using RADON demultiple .
With salt present in the structure you are looking at it is always going to be difficult to define a good velocity model. Which in turn is going to make RADON demultiple tricky. If RADON is being applied pre-migration then this should be very conservative - only looking to remove obvious multiples and keep anything that might be ambiguous. If RADON is being applied post-migration you could try being a little more aggressive with what you remove, but will still need to be careful. If near-offs... 2 years ago |

Avoid removing primary from the data with steep dip using RADON demultiple .
Hi guys when I am running RADON demultiple on data which contains salt and steep dips I am removing considerable primary energy from the salt boundary is there a way to avoid it , the primary energy loss is only at salt boundary and not for and flat geology. 2 years ago |

Common Offset planes
You should be able to sort to offset and CDP order using most of the sort modules, so either DSORT_OFF or GENSORT should be fine. DSORT_OFF is only for offset and CDP order, whereas in GENSORT you can choose your Pkey and Skey. Unfortunately KPRET2D only accepts data in CDP or SHOT order so you won't be able to migrate by offset plane with that module. Generally 2D datasets would not be migrated an offset at a time, this is because they are relatively small in terms of input traces so can be... 7 years ago |
